
Her three daughters have participated on the Mason Manta Rays team and her perspective as a parent has provided valuable insight over the last 12 years serving the City of Mason.

Trish has the unique ability to teach the fundamentals of competitive swimming while keeping the practice and competitive environment fun for athletes. Her efforts in developing athletes in multiple practice groups has helped to elevate the Mason Manta Rays program and their recognition as a highly competitive team on both the regional and national level.

Trish also has extensive experience working with young students in a school setting, particularly with children with special needs. Trish Schoenlein has been coaching swimming for 30 years and has been instrumental in developing the younger Mason Manta Ray athletes for the last 12 years. Todd has served on the Ohio Swimming Board and has coached in the sport of swimming for over 30 years. Todd Billhimer, who has served as the Mason Manta Rays full-time Head Age Group coach for over 17 years, made the decision to continue to serve the nationally ranked swim program in a part-time capacity with a focus on improving the team’s dryland program, mentoring coaches and athletes, providing administrative support and assisting with special projects that will advance the team.

While at Centenary, Brad coached a swimmer to the Guatemala National Team. Brad coached swimmers to School/Conference Records and Conference Champions. After leaving HAC at the end of Summer 2019, Brad was hired as the Head Coach of Centenary College of Louisiana where he remained from 2019 to 2022. Prior to coaching with Hillsborough Aquatic Club, Brad spent 2015-2019 with North Carolina Aquatic Club in Chapel Hill where he helped swimmers reach age group and senior sections and win High School State Championships. Brad helped coach HAC swimmers to participate in NCS Select and IMX Camps during his 1 year with the team as an Assistant Coach. He is returning to HAC as Head Coach after being an Assistant Coach for the 2018-2019 season where he made a big impression on our swimmers and formed relationships that exist to this day. Brad’s official first day will be June 5 th, 2023. We are very excited to announce the hiring of Brad Langford as the new Hillsborough Aquatic Club Head Coach and Sportsplex Aquatics Director. If using Orange Public Transportation or Sportsplex transportation, your child must be registered with KidsPlex After School Care. KidsPlex offers After School Care for HAC Swim Team participants. Swim team is a great way for your child to stay healthy – body, mind, and soul! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Or come on out to practice to see what it’s all about. We encourage everyone who is new to the program to come to evaluations offered in early August and April/May each year. Coaches stress hard work, but not at the expense of having fun! Groups range from beginners as young as 6 all the way up to High School aged swimmers. Promoting healthy living, friendly competition, and teamwork, HAC Swim Team is an excellent activity for kids of all ages and abilities. The Hillsborough Aquatic Club is a Swim Team program run by the Orange County Sportsplex that exploded onto the scene in 2011.
